We can help setup content management for your company, currently we have hands on experience configuring both Weceem and Drupal. This site (on Weceem CMS), thecoderscorner site (custom CMS) and many of the other sites we have built are running on various content management solutions.
Content management provides the ability to edit pages directly on the web. For example, if you notice a spelling mistake or other error on a page, you can login to your CMS system and modify the text, the effect is that the barrier to website change is removed. Further, if you identify a new business area that you need to build out quickly, again you can just login and start building out the new pages.
Even images and other media can be easily added from any location without need to access the webserver via FTP, or any other technical process. You simply upload the images to your CMS using your browser directly, and then select them for display in the HTML page editor.
If you prefer to keep a live and staging system, you can make changes in a staging system, check them and then publish them up to the production system.
We have deprecated Contour CMS, new sites should use Weceem CMS instead, it is a better solution in many ways, everyone who would have used contour will find that Weceem will work equally well if not better. Our consultants will move focus to Weceem to make one unified CMS.
We work with the people who wrote Weceem, helping out with requirements and intend to develop some new functionality within Weceem itself. You can be rest assured that we fully understand CMS development.
